Author Guidelines
Submission Requirements
The Journal of Global Trends in Artificial Intelligence (JGTAI) welcomes submissions adhering to the IEEE conference paper format. Below are the guidelines for preparing and submitting your manuscript.
- Manuscript Types:
- Original Research Articles: Novel research contributions (max. 8,000 words).
- Review Papers: Comprehensive reviews of AI topics (max. 10,000 words).
- Technical Notes: Short reports on new methods or tools (max. 3,000 words).
- Short Communications: Brief reports on preliminary findings (max. 2,000 words).
- Case Studies: Real-world AI applications (max. 5,000 words).
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
- Peer Review: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Anonymize your manuscript by removing author names and affiliations.
- Submission Portal: Submit via the JGTAI online submission system at https://jgtai.com/index.php/jgtai/user/register . Include a cover letter highlighting the significance of your work.
IEEE Conference Paper Format
JGTAI requires manuscripts to follow the IEEE conference paper format. Below are key formatting guidelines:
- Template:
Use the official IEEE conference paper template available at: IEEE Conference Paper Template. Available in Microsoft Word and LaTeX formats.
- General Formatting:
- Page Size: US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches).
- Margins: Top: 0.75", Bottom: 1", Left/Right: 0.625".
- Font: Times New Roman, 10-point for body text, 9-point for captions, 8-point for footnotes.
- Two-Column Layout: Text in two columns, each 3.5 inches wide, with a 0.25-inch gap.
- Length: Max. 8 pages for research/review papers, 4 pages for technical notes/short communications, 6 pages for case studies (including references and figures).
- Structure:
- Title: Concise, centered, 14-point font, bold.
- Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the research problem, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 4–6 keywords.
- Sections: Include Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Use IEEE heading styles (e.g., I. Introduction, A. Subsection).
- Figures and Tables: Embed in text, numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table I). Captions: 9-point font, below figures, above tables.
- Equations: Center equations, number sequentially in parentheses, e.g., (2025).
- References:
- Use IEEE citation style (numeric, e.g., [1]).
- List references at the end in order of appearance.
- Example: [1] J. K. Author, “Titl e of the article,” Journal Name, vol. 10, no. 2, pp. 100–110, Feb. 2023.
- File Format: Submit as a PDF with embedded fonts. Source files (Word/LaTeX) may be requested upon acceptance.
Additional Guidelines
- Anonymization for Review:
- Remove author names, affiliations, and acknowledgments from the initial submission.
- Avoid self-references revealing identity (e.g., rephrase “In our previous work [X]” as “In [X]”).
- Ethical Considerations:
- Ensure originality and proper citation.
- Disclose conflicts of interest in the cover letter.
- Address ethical implications (e.g., bias, privacy) for AI-related research.
- Supplementary Materials:
- Submit datasets, code, or figures as separate files.
- Include a brief description in the cover letter.
- Open Access:
